Simpler is better
As a new agency without established processes or the luxury of creating them in advance, we needed a way to manage chaos while figuring out direction. Success meant accurately predicting annual profitability even as individual projects evolved.
While planning out the schema we began to look at the company differently and started thinking of the entire thing as a series of nested projects. This allowed us to maintain a very clean and flexible organization while remaining scalable enough to grow. From there the site unfolded into a core set of dashboards for Projects, Profits, and People, giving the team an at-a-glance view of time, budget, and resource allocation.
Data output is simple and bold relying on consistent color indicators to add a level of hierarchy across all charts graphs and tables.
Data input is is camouflaged functioning more as a syntactical sentence than a visual metaphor.
