Because we believe learning is at the core of all experience — digital, analog, and IRL — we weave interaction into every aspect of our brand, regardless of whether or not it happens online. Our logo, display type, and stationary (designed by Hinterland) is built around binary 1s and 0s and die-cut into our business cards, giving the user a different experience depending on their perspective — and even inviting them to dig into the significance of 111011.
Our checks are embedded with unusual (and completely compliant) security features, a watermark, and graphics only visible under a black light. A closer look reveals various easter eggs. Most importantly our blank checks are designed to be printed and tracked with our in-house project management system.
Our emblem bears the motto creatricus uls clipeum which roughly translates from Latin to beyond the creator's disc of light. It implies we are beyond both our mother's sight and protection. Every desk features our primary brand color, embedded 120v and USB outlets, a locking security drawer, and the name of an employee's mother.
